Sunnyslope County Water District is committed to providing the best quality service for the least possible cost.

The current water rates were approved by the Board of Directors of Sunnyslope County Water District in December 2003, by Ordinance 62 and took effect on December 21, 2006.

The current sewer rates were approved by the Board of Directors of Sunnyslope County Water District in March 2007, by Ordinance 64 and took effect on March 21, 2007.

** The consumption charge of $1.87 per HCF for single and multi-family dwellings is based on the average winter water usage for February and March.

The current water and sewer capacity charges (connection fees) were approved by the Board of Directors of Sunnyslope County Water District in March 2007, by Ordinance 65 and took effect on March 8, 2007.

The miscellaneous rates and fees were approved by the Board of Directors in January 2007, by Ordinance 63 and took effect on January 19, 2007.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNT PENALTY:

Late Fee10.0% basic one-time penalty, PLUS a 0.5% continuing penalty for unpaid balance

MISCELLANEOUS FEES:

Call-Out Fee$ 150.00

Charged when District staff is called out to turn water on or off after normal working hours.

Reconnection Fee$ 40.00

Charged when water service is shut-off for non-payment and must be paid before water service is re-started.

Returned Check (or ACH) Fee$ 25.00

Charged when a payment is returned by the bank as uncollected for any reason.

Administrative Collection Fee$ 20.00

Charged when a shut-off notice or door hanger delivery is processed on a past due account.

Property Lien Filing Fee$ 45.00

Charged when the District files a lien for a balance due on a delinquent account.
