BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Five elected directors, each serving four-year terms, govern Sunnyslope County Water District.

DAWN ANDERSON, President
Dawn was first elected to the Board in 1990, and is a retired educator and 45-year plus San Benito County resident.

STEPHEN B. HAILSTONE, Vice-President
Steve was first nominated to fill in a vacacy on the Board on June 14, 1984. Steve is a retired high school teacher and administrator, and also served on the San Benito High School District Board of Trustees for twelve years and is a member of the Hollister Rotary Club.

MARCHEL NELSON
First elected October 6, 1987, is a long time resident of San Benito County and is a member of the Hollister Rotary Club. He is also an owner of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

DOUG KECK
Doug Keck was appointed to the Board in August 2006. Doug has previously served on the San Benito County Water District Board and is a chemistry and physics teacher at San Benito High School.


DAVE MERAZ
Dave Meraz was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Board on November 8, 2007. He began working in San Benito County six months prior, and has been in the water industry for more than 30 years. Dave is employed as the Maintenance & Operations Manager for San Benito County Water District.
